Michael Steinle to become president and CEO of BSH North America
BSH has announced its CEO Michael Steinle will be leaving the UK & Ireland division to become president and CEO of BSH North America. It follows the announcement BSH UK is 11% up on sales, helping the group reach EURO 10.5billion.
Steinle will be suceeded by Andreas Meier on September 1, 2014.
Meier has worked for BSH Home Appliances for 16 years and joins the UK division from Munich, where he has held the position of senior vice president of marketing (global), product division laundry care since 2011. Prior to this, he was managing director of BSH Thailand and senior vice president of the cooking division for BSH North America.

Steinle started his career with BSH in 1982 and became CEO of BSH Northern Europe in 2002 before being appointed CEO of BSH UK & Ireland in 2011.
