Bespoke kitchen manufacturer and retailer ceased trading and awaiting sale
North Yorkshire-based kitchen manufacturer and retailer Chantry Kitchens has been placed into administration, but one of its showrooms has now been bought by TruKitchen .
Established in 1993, the bespoke kitchen furniture business has two showrooms located in Harrogate and Tockwith.
All 18 staff, including two directors, were made redundant prior to the administration and the business has ceased trading while a purchaser is found.

Julian Pitts and Nick Reed of Begbies Traynor in Leeds were appointed group administrators on January 30, 2105, after the business had failed to generate sufficient orders and had encountered cash flow difficulties.
Joint administrator Julian Pitts said: “Unfortunately, the business ran into problems when it failed to generate sufficient orders going forward.
““We are pleased to have been able to complete a sale for some of the company’s assets, securing a better return for creditors and ensuring the survival of part of the business in order that customer orders can be satisfied.”
