Grand Designs Live returns to Excel in new format
Home design event Grand Designs Live, fronted by designer and TV presenter Kevin McCloud, will return in a new format to London Excel from May 2-5, 2025.
Home design event Grand Designs Live, fronted by designer and TV presenter Kevin McCloud, will return in a new format to London Excel from May 2-5, 2025.
It will feature a brand-new section Emerging Brands to showcase new talent and products breaking into the market, alongside returning Kevin’s Green Heroes, where McCloud picks a shortlist of new, sustainable products.
Grand Designs Live will feature four content hubs and theatres: Build and Renovation, Kitchen and Bathroom, Home and Gardens and Sustainability hub, plus The Grand House home built in the centre of the show.

Max McMurdo will host the sustainability theatre, while the Society of Garden Designers and British Institute of Interior Design will be the partners for the Homes and Gardens Theatre.
There will be an array of expert talks and panels, plus advice centres offering one-to-one sessions from independent experts, across the content hubs.
Partnering with the Royal Institute of Architects, Grand Designs Live will also host the Architecture Advice Centre, with top-tier experts to help out on structural engineering and project planning.

Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.

Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
