Marketing communications manager at Howdens Sophie Leathley comments: “As things are slowly getting back to normal, and the nation is getting excited about the summer of sport ahead, with international football tournaments, the Olympics and Wimbledon returning, we wanted to offer our new trade customers a little something to say thank you.”
She continued: “We know our customers love to get involved with all kinds of sporting events, so we’re incredibly excited to be working with football commentator Clive Tyldesley on a campaign that’s kicking-off on TalkSport.
“We hope that with the return of sport and the ease of lockdown restrictions our customers can enjoy this summer to its fullest.”
Clive Tyldesley added: “I’m really looking forward to working with Howdens during this summer of sport, especially with the international football coming up.
“Howdens is a brand with a great reputation amongst its customers, who really engage with their national teams during these sporting events.
“It’s that sense of theatre and occasion that I also love to celebrate during live TV coverage, so partnering with Howdens is a perfect match for me.”
To open a new trade account, customers can head to their local Howdens depot or apply for a trade account online.
Customers are able to receive their new football at the depot at the time of opening the new account, or when they visit their depot after applying, while stocks last.
