Best Traditional Kitchen Award for UK & Europe
Essex-based luxury kitchen company, Humphrey Munson has won the Best Traditional Kitchen Award for UK & Europe in the Sub-Zero & Wolf “Best of the Best” Kitchen Design Contest.
Founder and design director of Humphrey Munson, Peter Humphrey created the project which included a large open plan kitchen with a 12 seater dining area housed in the plus orangery, scullery, walk-in larder and utility / boot room.
The design brief for the kitchen stated it was to be timeless, boast a walk-in larder and a large island, and be suitable for a family providing room for cooking, entertaining, homework and play.

Recognised for its “quintessentially British” design and “exquisitely detailed” cabinetry, the project was one of over 1700 entries in the world-wide competition.
The winning kitchen were chosen by panel of seven judges included New York based designer Jamie Drake, founder of Nu-Haus Doug Durbin and architect Cristina Menezes.
Winners of the biannual global contest were announced at the Sub-Zero & Wolf Knightsbridge showroom on June 4.
Humphrey Munson will travel to Arizona to attend the Sub-Zero & Wolf Summit & Gala dinner, where the Global Winners will be announced.
The company will be joined by fellow winners, Bulthaup Mayfair, who scooped Best Contemporary Kitchen, and Millgate Homes which won Best Transitional Kitchen.
