Plumbing, heating and renewable exhibition InstallerSHOW welcomed a record number of visitors to the NEC Birmingham, according to the organiser.

The show saw 20,290 visitors from across the heat, water, air and energy space access more than 300 speakers and 650 exhibitors across two halls and 40,000sqm of floorspace.

This year saw the addition of Installer Kitchens & Bathrooms, which was created to connect the supply chain, as well as InstallerTRADES so tradespeople could share their views on tools and workwear.

Also appearing for the first time, the elemental Arena offered an opportunity to hear from heavyweight speakers such as Deborah Meaden, Greg Jackson and Chris Skidmore.

Whereas, the new Climate Solutions Theatre hosted a series of events to mark World Refrigeration Day as well as spotlighting the experiences of women in the industry.

These joined the InstallerPLAZA, with a varied programme which included Kevin McCloud and was the venue for Vaillant’s 150th birthday party, with live gig from The Hare Raisers.

Reflecting on InstallerSHOW 2024, managing director Mike Costain said: “The buzz around the NEC surpassed anything we’ve experienced previously, which is testament to the attitude of our entire community.

“It’s fantastic to see both new and returning visitors and exhibitors immersing themselves in the spirit of InstallerSHOW and embracing the belief that knowledge and fun can go hand in hand.

“Work has already begun on laying the foundations for an even bigger and better InstallerSHOW in 2025.”

 InstallerSHOW 2025 will return to NEC Birmingham from June 24-26 across Halls 3a, 4 and 5 at the NEC, Birmingham with aims to attract 30,000 visitors, 800 exhibitors and 400 speakers.
