The £35million turnover company has acquired two DAF XD 18-tonne lorries liveried in the company’s branding.

It follows on from the company’s acquisition of four tractor units in 2022, which were bought to provide more reliable and efficient transportation.

Fully liveried in JJO’s branding, the new lorries meet the Direct Vision Standard and ultra-low emission zones, required for delivering in London.

JJO has been at the forefront of sustainable issues for some time, having invested in a biomass boiler and electric vehicles, and solar roof panels.

Most recently, it has launched the Carbon Calculator to provide its customers with the carbon footprint of its kitchens up to the gate.
