Luxury concrete basin manufacturer Kast, owned by global kitchen and bathroom supplier Kohler Co, is set to relocate to a new facility in Nottingham.
According to the company, the new 33,154sqft site at Power Park marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth.
The transition, set to be completed by March 2025, is to enable the company to boost production capacity, enhance operational efficiency, and allow Kast to diversify into new product categories, further broadening its market reach.

The new facility will feature solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations, and a commitment to operate entirely on electricity, eliminating the use of natural gas.
Additionally, it will enhance Kast’s focus on research and development, providing more space dedicated to material exploration using recycled aggregates.
The aim is to achieve zero waste to landfill for both concrete and packaging.
Managing director of Kast David Knight said:”We are incredibly excited to embark on this new chapter for Kast.
“This expansion not only strengthens our commitment to sustainable practices but also underscores our dedication to growth and innovation across new product categories.
“As the number one leader in the industry, we are confident in our ability to continue delivering exceptional results, further solidifying our reputation as the best at what we do.
“This is a significant step forward in our journey to better serve our customers and support our talented employees.”
In addition to advanced manufacturing capabilities, the new location will feature modern office spaces, and a dedicated showroom to display Kast’s innovative design range.
In a nod to the company’s speciality, a bespoke concrete table will serve as the centrepiece in the conference room.
Group President – K&B International & New Ventures at Kohler Co Larry Yuen commented: “I had the luxury of visiting our new facility and can confirm it’s going to be world-class, enabling us to continue growing.
“I’m really excited about the opportunities Kast presents to Kohler and would like to thank everyone involved, especially under the leadership of Bonnie Choruby, president – Luxury & Wellness Brands, for their efforts to significantly improve and expand our Kast business.”
