Energy “palpable” throughout the four-day kitchen and bathroom trade show
kbbBirmingham may have started with a bang, with exhibitors reporting sales straight out of the gate on the opening day. But critics will have questioned could that level of energy really continue for the duration of the show? And throughout the four-day event, the answer was a resounding ‘yes’! And industry experts suggested it has been one of the best kbb shows.
Sales and marketing director of BA Components, David Caulfield said “I can honestly say the buzz has been palpable this year.” He continued: “We’ve had more good quality leads, this year, than the last three [shows] put together. I think there’s a real optimisim in the market, at the minute, and I think it’s good to see our industry in the UK is buzzing again and looking forward, rather than looking back.”
And his view was echoed by country manager of Nolte UK, Richard Pedgrift who on the last day, commented: “We’ve got 25% more good, qualified leads than we had in 2012 and we haven’t finished yet.”
