KBBG reports “unprecedented” year for members

The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG), part of Der Kreis, has announced 2024 as a record-breaking year for new members.

As the end of the year approaches, the Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG), part of Der Kreis, has announced 2024 as a record-breaking year for new members.

Created for independent KBB retailers, the KBBG membership has increased by nearly 20% over the last year.

All KBBG members remain independent and retain their identity, while gaining better buying conditions and access to select suppliers and service providers in the UK and Europe.

Overall, KBBG’s reports its objective is to create a strong and sustainable independent channel.

Managing director of the KBBG Bill Miller said: “KBBG’s membership has increased year-on-year since its launch in 2013.

“The number of new members joining the buying group in 2024 has been unprecedented for a number of reasons including our unique business partnership with the Kbsa, which we announced at our Annual Members’ Meeting in June.”

The KBBG has collaborated with trade association the Kbsa, for the benefit of both organisations’ members.

KBBG supports the front-end of business for independent KBB specialists by bringing suppliers, buying conditions, bonuses and supporting with new leads.

Whereas the Kbsa supports independent KBB retailers with the operational end of business.

Bill Miller added: “Our partnership with the Kbsa has been a long time coming and it’s great to see our collaborative efforts provide so many benefits to members.

“Having announced that I will be stepping down from my role at KBBG, I’m pleased to be departing on a high note at the end of what has been an exceptional year, and I know that Owain and the team will continue to drive growth; the future is looking very bright for the KBBG.”
