Host of the 2024 Kbsa Designer Awards Ronni Ancona became known for her work on the BAFTA-winning The Big Impression series and specials with Alistair McGowan, for which she won the British Comedy Award for Best Actress and Variety Club Award.
She also received a BAFTA for her performance in The Sketch Show, which she also co-wrote. Working across comedy and drama, she has also been a regular character in Last Tango in Halifax and made many regular appearances as a panellist on QI, as well as hosted Have I Got News for You.
Kbsa chair Richard Hibbert commented: “We are excited to be launching our 2024 awards, which are recognised in the industry for their transparency and integrity.
“All entrants are judged blind by an independent judging panel, and standards are exceedingly high.
“The awards are only open to members but with some great deals for membership available during March, it is a great time to join and become eligible to be part of the awards.
“Ronni Ancona is an amazingly talented artist and will be a superb host for our event.”
