Prior to deciding to open a Kutchenhaus franchise,  Salmon worked for Harvey Jones as training consultant and it is where she met Rodger Lloyd who was a senior kitchen designer.

She said: “Having explored the Kutchenhaus franchise route, and after discussions with Rodger, we decided it would be a great fit for us to venture into owning our own showroom.

“It has always been a main ambition of mine to own a showroom and, using 20 years of experience to realise my own businesses, this was the natural next step.

“It is my purpose, passion and drive to bring more sustainability and wellbeing to people’s homes, and to the industry we work in.

“We will be focused on producing the very best for the Cambridge area.”

Following a career in performing arts, Rodger Lloyd has worked in the industry for eight years, for the likes of Harvey Jones, Roundhouse Design and Kutchenhaus St Albans and Stevenage.

Now he  is taking his experience and embarking on a new journey as a Kutchenhaus showroom franchisee.

Commenting on his decision, Lloyd stated: “Designing kitchens allows me to combine my love for creativity and problem-solving, helping people to bring their dream to life.

“I take great pride in looking at a space, understanding the client’s needs and budget, and delivering a stunning design that enhances their home and lifestyle.

“Now, I feel it’s the perfect time to embark on my own journey — to build something that’s unique and continue doing what I love most: creating joy through beautiful kitchen designs.

“I am excited about the future and passionate about making a difference, one kitchen at a time alongside a fantastic business partner.

“We have worked together for six years, so know how each other operates and we seem to complement and support one another very well.”

Having recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, head of marketing at Kutchenhaus Paul Lee explains the journey behind the brand.
