Global kitchen and bathroom manufacturer Kohler Co will return to the Palazzo Del Senato and exhibit at Salone del mobile, during Milan Design Week (April 16-21, 2024).
Part of its multi-year SR_A x Kohler collaboration, British artist and designer Samuel Ross of industrial design studio SR_A will create a large-scale, site-specific installation titled Terminal 02 for the launch of Kohler’s Formation 02 smart toilet.
Created in Ross’s signature style, the WC will be designed in a brutalist style, featured in the collaboration’s Haptic Orange colour and joins the Formation 01 tap launched at Design Miami.

Created to be an immersive experience, the installation will be a maze-like network of industrial pipes that lead to Formation 02, and allow visitors to witness the flow of water in different shapes and levels.
The concepts of flow and control will be brought together through an aesthetic that uses the natural landscape juxtaposed with industrial engineering.
Kohler Co has worked with international design studio Yabu Pushelberg to create a stand for its Kohler, Kat LKAFS and Kallista brands.
It will include the Rista 3D printed basin, Anthem digital shower and Teal, Fresh Green and Aspen Green sanitaryware finishes for Kohler.
Kast will showcase its specialist concrete basins, such as its latest Holm collection, while KLAFS will showcase its sauna products, including its first collaboration with F.A Porsche
