LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled its latest lineup of home appliances at IFA, which it reports to offer “industry leading” efficiency, at IFA in Berlin.
President of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company Lyu Jae-cheol said: “LG’s latest appliances meet growing European demand for energy efficient home solutions while simultaneously delivering superior performance and a more convenient life.

The latest appliance line-up includes washing machine, dryer, bottom fridge and side-by-side refrigeration, oven and dishwasher.
The washing machine performs a new drum motion that helps deliver clean laundry while minimising the energy consumption of its Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD) motor.
AI adjusts the motor’s RPM in real-time, contributing to the appliance’s A-55% energy rating and also features in its AI wash programme, which has fabric sensing capabilities.
The washing machine can set cycle and temperature options based on usage patterns and change the order in which cycles are displayed on the control panel (according to usage-frequency).
Additionally, LG’s new washing machine comes with a Microplastic Care cycle that reduces the shedding of microplastics from laundry, as well as the ezDispense feature, which automatically dispenses the right amount of detergent for each load.
Meanwhile, its new dryer has an A+++-26% energy rating, with AI Dry function for moisture detection and optimal drying.
According to LG its new LG bottom-freezer refrigerator offers the lowest energy consumption of any refrigerator currently on the market.
It boasts an A-25% energy rating, operates a 29dB for a more peaceful kitchen environment, and to European customers greater choice, LG is introducing a large capacity side-by-side model in addition to the new bottom-freezer.
The new side-by-side refrigerator offers the company’s unique Craft Ice spherical-ice maker, and hygiene management with UVnano technology.
Along with A++ energy efficiency, LG’s new 600mm built-in InstaView oven offers 80 Auto Cook modes and with Gourmet AI, can identify the dish being cooked through its built-in camera, and automatically select the appropriate cooking mode from 30 recipes.
Completing the latest appliance line-up, the new LG QuadWash dishwasher has an energy efficiency rating of A-20%The dishwasher with Side Rack and 3rd Rack options, for greater loading flexibility.
At the IFA exhibition in Germany, LG also unveiled the LGThinQ ON AI home hub, the centre piece of a smart home ecosystem, where LG’s appliances and AI work together, learning from individual usage patterns and trends, accelerating towards LG’s vision of LG’s “Zero Labour Home”.
