Bathroom retailer C.P.Hart named Homes & Gardens Retailer of the year
Bathroom retailer C.P.Hart has been announced as the Retailer of the Year at the 2014 Homes & Gardens Designer Award.
The award was presented to managing director Paul Rowland at the ceremony, which was held at The British Museum.
The judging panel singled out C.P. Hart’s Chelsea showroom as ‘a glimpse of the future of retailing’ and praised the brand’s use of technology and a sculpture to create the retail concept.

Experimenting with a new format, the store features a consultation area with interactive touch-screen, to allow architects, designers and consumers to create digital mood boards.
This technological approach to retail is mirrored in its commissioned sculpture using water and light by Jason Bruges, which uses computer-controlled LEDs.
Managing director for C.P. Hart Paul Rowland commented: “We are delighted to be named Retailer of the Year by Homes & Gardens. I want to thank the judging panel for recognising our efforts to reinvent C.P. Hart’s retail model to meet the needs of our professional clients and retail customers.
“The high calibre of talent in this year’s Homes & Gardens Designer Awards reflects the creativity and innovation at the heart of Britain’s design community and we are honoured to be recognised alongside such a high pedigree of talented designers.”
