It engaged business advisory firm FRP to assist the directors in placing the company into creditors’ voluntary liquidation.

Following an unsuccessful attempt to secure a purchaser for the business and assets, Mereway Bathrooms ceased trading on November 7, 2024.

All 50 employees were made redundant and are now being supported by FRP’s team to file claims with the Redundancy Payments Service.

The proposed liquidators, Ben Jones and Raj Mittal of FRP, are working with the directors to facilitate an orderly wind down.

All known creditors have been notified of the proposed liquidation and the decision date for the liquidation is November 20, 2024.

Although sharing a similar name, Mereway Kitchens was a separate business but suffered a similar fate.

Having been acquired from administration by parent company of Masterclass Kitchens Sigma 3 in 2023, Mereway Kitchens fell into administration in January 2024.
