Yorkshire-based wall panel manufacturer and retailer Naturewall has invested £1million into a new manufacturing plant in Beverley, East Yorkshire.
The 26,00sqft site will allow Naturewall to bring all cutting and CNC in-house, which it reports will reduce costs and increase capability for delivering bespoke products to the contract market, and create 25 jobs.
As well as housing reportedly the UK’s second largest beam saw, it will feature a new adhesive bonding line and bench joinery area.

Naturewall has pioneered a new bonding process for its SlatWall product which uses adhesive rather than staples to bind wooden slats to backing-cloth.
The new technique, developed over the last 12 months, has been created so SlatWall panels can be used in smaller sizes and awkward areas by consumers.
Co-Founder and commercial cirector at Naturewall Philip Brown, said: “As part of our commitment to provide our customers with the very best quality wall panelling products, we have invested over £1m into our new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Beverley, East Yorkshire.
“This huge investment has been 18 months in the planning stage, and we are delighted to, as of March 2024, launch the site into full production.
“The facility will allow us to rapidly scale up our production capacity but, most importantly, provide an increased range of high-quality wall panelling products to the UK retail and trade market.”
The company, which is headquartered in Leeds, will turn its existing SlatWall manufacturing centre, in Hull, into a specialist despatch and warehousing site.
Founded in 2018, Naturewall makes decorative wooden wall-panels for the residential and contract markets and is the only UK manufacturer of SlatWall.
