Sink and tap manufacturer The 1810 Company/Schock UK has appointed Bernhard van Ommen as its new managing director.

He succeeds Dean Williams who spent 14 months in the role, following a career with Alno and Berkeley Group.

Bernhard van Ommen has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience, across premium and luxury brands, and will oversee sales, manufacturing, marketing, and operations in his new role.

Former managing director of Flokk UK, he led the business transformation, accelerated revenue growth, and integrated multiple brands under a unified commercial strategy.

As The 1810 Company and Schock enter their next phase of expansion and integration, the company states his experience of scaling businesses and aligning teams around a shared vision will be instrumental.
