NKBA presents European brand spotlights at KBIS

The National Kitchen & Bath Association, owner of the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) will present European brand spotlights  in Las Vegas, from February 25-27.

NKBA presents European brand spotlights at KBIS

It forms part of its NKBA Global Connect program, designed to help manufacturers understand business practices in the North American kitchen and bath sector, reduce risk, and prepare for successful entry into the market.

The international pavilions at KBIS, sponsored by Governments and trade ministries from the likes of Germany, Italy, the UK, and Brazil, also have the opportunity to participate on  behalf of their members or industry associations.

LuAnn Nigara, NKBA Global Connect Advisor and president of LuAnn Nigara Inc, will host the first series of rapid-fire Spotlight presentations introducing new-to-North America international kitchen and bath brands on February 25.

The UK’s Bathroom Manufacturers Association, a Global Connect Strategic Alliance Partner and sponsor of the BMA-UK Pavilion, will share Spotlight presentations from member companies Hidealoo, Thomas Crapper, Whitebirk Sinks,; Ellsi Limited, and Grant Westfield.

Italian ventilation and extractor company Falmec, an NKBA Global Connect member, will present on its range hoods including its trademarked Noise Reduction System.

Italian national trade association representing valve and tap manufacturers ANIMA/AVR, and member of Anima Confidustria, an umbrella organisation of industrial trade associations, is sponsoring the Italian Pavilion.

A NKBA Global Connect Strategic Alliance Partner AVR will share its work in technological innovations driving the health, safety of water delivery systems and products.

Greg Rohl, a Global Connect advisor and principal of The Rohl Model will host the second day of the brand spotlights

It will highlight a selection companies from the Made in Germany Pavilion, managed by German trade associations AMK and VDM, including sink manufacturer Blanco, Hacker, Wasserwerk, and Schott, which will talk about its cooking surface technology.

Completing the presentations, Wendy Griffiths, SVP membership and global development of CEDIA, a NKBA Global Connect Strategic Alliance Partner, will present “CEDIA: Empowering Architects & Designers in the Smart Homes Era”, sharing the opportunities for collaboration with the organisation.

Global Connect Spotlight presentations take place in the Global Connect Lounge, #SL1113, the international hub in South Hall.

The NKBA Global Connect program also includes a series of roundtable discussions, taking place throughout the show.
