KBB distributor PJH reports its purpose-built, Wolverhampton Distribution Centre is nearing completion, with plans to open later in the year.
Located just 8.3 miles from PJH’s current Cannock site, and set to replace the facility, the Wolverhampton Distribution Centre measures 205,000 sq ft, nearly double the size of the existing site.
According to the company, the new distribution centre will allow planned product range enhancements, as well as improvement its PJH Next-day delivery service.

It will also feature a purpose-built showroom designed to showcase PJH’s product portfolio to customers.
Additionally, the distribution centre will also provide 15,500 sq ft of offices, as well as car parking, for PJH’s 150-strong workforce who will transfer from Cannock.
With all steel structures now in place, the installation of the Warehouse & Transport Hub has commenced, laying the groundwork for its logistics management.
The warehouse racking solution has also been finalised and PJH’s BREEAM excellent sustainable build application is ongoing.
PJH’s bespoke Warehouse Management System (WMS) is also now fully integrated, and the testing of routines has begun, to allow for seamless operation from opening.
