An alliance of manufacturers from the kitchen industry RK-TEC celebrated its 15th anniversary at a seminar of industry professionals, held at the Potton Show Centre and Self Build Academy.
RK-Tec is a collaboration of 10 kitchen brands promoting excellence in design, product quality and project management: Neff, Callerton, Franke, Blum, Siemens, Silestone, Sensio, Cyncly, Bosch and Dekton.
CEO of Callerton Dawn Short reflected on RK-Tec’s journey, which was formed during the 2008 financial crisis, to reach potential clients during the challenging time.

“The market was not broken, just altered – they [kitchen brands] needed to reassess and reconfigure their marketing and promotional strategies”, she explained.
The partnership started by reaching out to potential consumers at the National Homebuilding & Renovating Show.
It has since developed into a decade long relationship with Potton’s Show Centre & Self Build Academy, providing a permanent showcase for member products and services.
The event was marked by the unveiling of the 10th edition of Kitchen Inspiration and the launch of James Herriot’s new book, Insights to Kitchen Design: 40+ Years in the World of a Design-led Kitchen Specialist.
