Global bathroom manufacturer Roca Group has acquired Nosag and IneoCare, which specialise in the manufacture of accessible bathrooms for people with reduced mobility.
According to the Roca Group, the acquisition reinforces its position in Central Europe and in the over-65s market, a growing segment which it says accounts for 20% of Europe’s population.
Swiss brand Nosag was founded in 1977 in Dintikon, Switzerland and set up IneoCare in Dobroszyce, Poland, in 2020 to manufacture and supply most of its products.

The companies are currently only present in the Swiss market, but Roca Group plans to extend the sale of the products to all markets where it operates.
CEO of Roca Group Albert Magrans commented on the acquisition: “For the group, this is a strategic move, given the complementary portfolios of both companies with the current catalogue of products offered by our global brands Roca and Laufen.
“It reinforces our line of ‘total care concept’ products and will allow us to reach all those people who, as well as being committed to design and usability, need more practical and comfortable devices adapted to their personal circumstances.”
Roca Group operates in 170 countries, with 79 factories worldwide, employs more than 20,000 people and recently rescued Alape from preliminary insolvency.
