Osborne succeeds Steve Lee, whose two-year tenure had drawn to a close, and now becomes past president. Lee was formerly CEO of Methven UK but stepped down to pursue other business ventures.
In his outgoing speech at the association, Steve Lee commented: “As president, I have been very proud to have been involved and it’s great to see the organisation going from strength to strength. In the last year, or so, we’ve added another 12 members which is fantastic and we have over 100 brands in the BMA.”
He continued: “I am also very pleased to be able to hand over the reins to David, who is going to be a worthy president, going forward.”
