German kitchen manufacturer Rotpunkt has announced a €50million investment into growth of the business, including a new warehouse and logistics building.
The building is being constructed at its headquarters in Bünde, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, and is due for completion by the end of summer 2025.
With an investment of double-digit million euros, the warehouse will cover 10,000sqm and creates space for additional machines, currently housed in the existing facility, to enhance operational efficiency.

Key aims for the building are to offer greater individuality for consumers by increasing product variety.
With “a high degree” of automation, Rotpunkt states the warehouse will offer a flexible approach to manufacturing and increase the company’s production capacity.
Rotpunkt introduced new fronts from contemporary hardwood timbers through to fluted designs in wood and glass, a series of new cabinet heights and new colours at its recent Hausemesse, as part of Kuchenmeile 2024.
Helping to create new job opportunities within the local community, Rotpunkt claims the “high-volume” production facilities will increase operations, drive innovation and enhance precision, speed, and reliability.
It also offers the opportunity for “lights-out” production, once the design parameters have been set by a Rotpunk technician, with the system able to carry out instructions without supervision.
Head of UK operations at Rotpunkt Matt Phillips said: “We are very proud to be investing in the future by constructing a new warehouse to further automate production so we can provide unlimited brand variety and exclusive design opportunities for our customers.
“As Great Britain is one of the largest markets in Europe, the UK holds significant importance to Rotpunkt as the number of retailers working with our diverse, high quality, and sustainable design portfolio continues to grow.”
Rotpunkt’s €50-million growth package is wide-ranging and includes technology upgrades and targeted sustainability measures.
Thes include digitalisation of production and corporate processes to remain competitive, new machinery to reduce waste materials, intelligent lighting, photovoltaic system to harness solar power, migration to green-only energy and social and wellness support for employees.
Managing director of marketing & sales at Rotpunkt Küchen Sven Herden said: “By paying close attention to sustainable forestry, respect for human rights and fair working conditions, our efforts will have a compound effect on our company’s future.
“This entire development project is testament to the ongoing commitment from Rotpunkt, to make both our company and products more sustainable and climate friendly, as we look ahead to our centenary in 2030.”
