Paul Newson has passed away following a seven-year battle with cancer
Saniflo and the SFA Group UK have honoured former managing director Paul Newson, who has passed away following a seven-year battle with cancer.
Paul Newson actually began his career in the kitchen industry, working in the marketing department of Hoover, before he moved into the export department of Black & Decker.
In 1979, he masterminded the launch of Saniflo UK and spent over 30 years building the brand, and macerator sales, in this country.

Managing director of Saniflo UK, Tim Pestell said: “Paul created this business from nothing in the UK – developing an unknown concept and product into the success it has become today. Not only was he a shrewd businessman, but a kind and humble man who always managed to bring out the best in others. He is greatly missed.”
He leaves behind a wife and daughter, and the funeral took place on February 4, in his local town of Amersham.

Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
