The transaction will provide the opportunity for Schock to expand its sales in the UK.

Founded in 2009 by managing director Gareth Williams, The 1810 Company has offices and warehousing in Mold, North Wales, with a dedicated trade showroom in the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.

The 1810 Company will continue to operate under the current management team and will market its products alongside the Schock brand.

It follows on from the acqusition of Polish bath, basin, shower tray and sink manufacturer Marmorin.

Geographical expansion of the Schock brand has been aided by the company’s own acquisition by investment company Triton.
