Providing appliances for pop-up restaurant 100ft above London
Italian appliance brand Smeg has teamed up with London in the Sky, a pop-up restaurant suspended 100ft above the capital, to provide its fridge freezers and cookers.
The restaurant will feature Michelin starred chefs who will create their signature dishes and dining experiences in the air, for up to 22 guests at a time. All the food will be prepared at the centre of the table on appliances using Smeg’s FQ55FX fridge freezers FAB fridge freezers and Opera range cooker with induction hob
There will be dining at breakfast, lunch or dinner with Champagne Tattinger and canapes for afternoon flights, as well as those in the evening.

London in the Sky will take place at Canary Wharf, Wood Wharf Business Park, 100 Preston’s Road, London, E14 9SB from September 12-21, 2014. Prices range from £75 to £200 per head per sitting.
