With a wealth of experience and leadership skills, Andy Cottee has worked in manufacturing, distribution, independent businesses and wholesale, including for Vent-Axia and Anglo Nordic.

He succeeds Glenn Fisher, who was managing director and took over the role from founder and chairman Robin Beal.

Established 10 years ago by founder Robin Beal, the IPG has a national network of over 200 stores and showrooms.

Reflecting on the journey of the past decade, Robin Beal stated: “I vividly recall the inception of this group with limited resources, immense enthusiasm, and boundless dreams.

“Today, we have transformed those dreams into reality and set our sights on new horizons.

“I am equally grateful to all the people who have been part of this journey. That said, we’re just getting started — our best days lie ahead of us.”

MD Andy Cottee joined The IPG at its annual conference, held this year in Spain, and commented: “The conference allowed me to engage with our valued members and suppliers in a fantastic setting.

“Conversations highlighted our achievements and unveiled the potential for future collaboration. The passion for our group’s core beliefs and vision is palpable among our members, suppliers and The IPG team. I’m eager to build on these relationships throughout the coming year.’
