A team of employees from British bathroom manufacturer Thomas Crapper has cycled 250 miles to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.
The charity provides information and support for patients and their families, campaigns for early diagnosis, funds research and educates the public and professionals about the disease.
Taking time out of their schedules, the team took part in a static bike ride at the Huddersfield HQ and has raised £1,410 for the charity through its dedicated JustGiving page.

Managing director and cyclist Paul Dwyer commented: “We were eager to start raising money for Bowel Cancer UK and, as the Thomas Crapper team is small and mighty, we decided on a static bike ride as our first fundraising event.
“The date was set, bikes were sourced, social team was briefed, PR and marketing content was in place…and we were off!”
The Thomas Crapper team reached 250 miles faster than anticipated and the team agreed the next event will have to be more of a challenge.
