British bathroom brand Thomas Crapper has invested £120k into tooling for its foundry, to increase production capacity.
The tooling will help increase manufacturing capabilities of its 814 cast metal cistern and signifies investment in the company growth.
Managing director of Thomas Crapper Paul Dwyer commented: “Investing in this new tooling arrangement means that our capacity for manufacturing the 814 cast cisterns will increase markedly.

“The new system represents a significant investment in our future growth and will help us to maintain our service levels to customers through this period of very high sales”.
It follows on from a six-figure investment into new premises last year, after growth of the business, with the company increasing its product portfolio, employee headcount and services.
The Huddersfield-based company invested £100,000 into a new 850sqm warehouse and expanded administration facilities .
Established in 1861, Thomas Crapper was acquired by Hartford Holdings in 2016 and is sister brand to Trojan, Mantaleda and Traymate.
