Ex-display and pre-owned kitchen retailer Used Kitchen Hub has been named a finalist in two categories at this year’s SME National Business Awards.

The online re-seller of discounted second-hand kitchens has been shortlisted for Family Business of the Year and Service Excellence Award.

Consisting of 20 categories such as Employer of the Year, Best New Business and the Positive Impact Award, the SME National Business Awards aim to raise the profile of SMEs across the UK.

Established in 2015, Used Kitchen Hub is an online platform that helps kitchen showrooms and their consumers buy and sell ex-display and privately-owned used kitchens at a discounted rate.

The company has recently established a commercial partnership with Poggenpohl and Nolte, and has recently reported an increase in operations of 30% and a headcount growth.

Used Kitchen Hub founder Daniel Abrahams commented: “My wife and I co-founded Used Kitchen Hub in 2015, shortly after selling our own kitchen, when the concept of buying and selling second-hand kitchens was still relatively new.

Winners of the SME National Business Awards 2024 will be announced at a ceremony on December 6 at Wembley Stadium.
