Citterio E brassware collection and Universal Accessories launch
Hansgrohe unveiled its Axor Antonio Citterio E and Universal Accessories at The Crypt on the Green in Clerkenwell, London, with presentations from designer Antonio Citterio and head of Axor Philippe Grohe .
Citterio has worked with Hansgrohe for 14 years and Citterio E is his third collection for the brassware manufacturer.
The 37-strong collection spans deckmounted and wall-mounted single lever mixers with joystick controls, to wall and deck-mounted three-hole mixers with crosshead controls, through to freestanding bath/shower mixer. It also includes concealed shower valves with ShowerSelect push button technology for water control. Ease of use and being easy to understand was a key feature of the collection.

Antonio Citterio commented: “The result of this most recent collaboration is the ‘essence of luxury’. The products are not only characterised by flexible implementation, but also by exceptional ease of use and a pleasant touch and feel”.
The Universal Accessories, also designed by Citterio, is based on a bar design, where designers can slot accessories into the wall-hung bar. However, the bar is also a safety element and can be used as a grab rail, as well as towel rail. It can be used as the riser of the shower and even as a bespoke shower enclosure door handle.
Axor Citterio E and the Universal Accessories come in chrome but using the Axor Manufaktur option, designers can also choose the brassware in gold optic, rose gold, black chrome, nickel or bronze finishes – all of which are available as polished or matt versions.
