Becca Keenan and Gemma Lofthouse join company

Expanding its internal design team, British Ceramic Tile has appointed Becca Keenan and Gemma Lofthouse.

Originally from Stoke on Trent, Keenan joins British Ceramic Tile fresh from her master’s degree in ceramic tableware.

Lofthouse has returned from 18 months in the United States, where she was part of the Anthropologie home textiles design team.

Both will be responsible for looking at the latest trends and styles influencing the fashion and interiors world.

Head of design and product Claire O’Brien commented: “Our design team has changed enormously over the years. We now have a team with a range of experience and creative ability.

“What makes this team so effective is their understanding of the technical side and their close working relationship with product, marketing, manufacturing and sales.”

Earlier this year, British Ceramic Tile celebrated the rising popularity of concrete with the introduction of the Smokestack tile range.
