Bathroom manufacturer Coram UK has appointed Gary Major as national sales manager retail & merchant.

Major has a wealth of understanding of the merchant and retail market, and has experience of combining design flair with commercial engagement and product innovation.

Having started his career as an estimator at Travis Perkins, Major went on to work for bathroom manufacturer brands, including Roman and Heritage Bathrooms.

He established retail showroom Bathroom and Shower Centre Swindon (BASC) in Wiltshire before joining Ideal Standard International as retail sales team manager UK south.

In his new role, Major will offer knowledge and commercial guidance to Coram UK retail and merchant customers, as well as support the UK sales team.

Commenting on his new role, Gary Major said: “I very much enjoy being customer facing. I am also keen to offer support to the Coram UK team whether with strategy, meetings or customer engagement.

“I love to help individuals and businesses thrive and reach their goals. I am genuinely looking forward to getting to know the team, getting in front of customers old and new and being able to help deliver clarity in our sales channels and product portfolios, so that our customers can provide the very best solutions to their customers.”

Coram UK is the parent company of  Impey, Sealskin, Geese, Tiger and Coram, which has recently upgraded its plastic shower trays.
