Former VP for Whirlpool EMEA takes European CEO role
Appliance manufacturer Haier has appointed Yannick Fierling as CEO of Haier Europe, succeeding Rene Aubertin who spent five years in the role.
Fierling has over 18 years of experience in the automotive and white good industries, and joins Haier following 15 years at Whirlpool, where he was most recently general manager of the Fabric Care business and vice president of Whirlpool EMEA. During his time at Whirlpool, he occupied positions of increasing responsibility in Europe and North America.
He has two master’s degrees in engineering and most recently was awarded a degree in Finance.
