Shower tray manufacturer JT has appointed Michael Kimball-Smith as southern key account manager to drive sales and develop the business in the South of England and in Wales.
He brings with him 33 years of experience in the bathroom sector, including working at Bathroom Guru, No Code, Novellini, Pennybee, and Copperfields in a range of roles from installer and wetroom specialist to manufacturer’s representative.
Kimball-Smith has also worked as a bathroom specialist technical advisor on television, featuring on Homefront, Changing Rooms and Doing it Up.

In his new role at JT, he will focus on supporting the manufacturer’s distribution partners,
maintaining links with existing customers and exploring how JT can continue to support their businesses.
Commenting on his new position, he said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at JT, working with a company that are investing heavily in new production facilities, processes and designs.

JT has been manufacturing trays in the UK for nearly 30 years, has a factory in Leeds, West Yorks and is owned by Kartell which also owns Summerbridge and Vogue UK brands.
It introduced the first low profile, acrylic capped shower tray and most recently introduced lightweight stone resin models.
