German kitchen franchise Kutchenhaus, has appointed James Slater as its head of central operations.
Joining from Magnet Kitchens, where he was UK central operations manager, he brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked in the kitchen industry and wider retail for over 20 years.
With experience at brands such as the Co-op, LIDL and Tesco, Slater has worked across all layers of retail.

He started out on the shop floor progressing to area manager, and then on to a role as retail operations manager for the UK at Co-op.
In his previous position at Magnet Kitchens, Slater worked on the company’s sales to service strategy and was responsible for the customer experience of new stores.
Based at the Kutchenhaus head office in Rochdale, his new position will see him heading up the Kutchenhaus support centre and offer strategic focus for the business.
