Lakes Showering Spaces’ facilities manager Stuart McGhee has celebrated 30 years of service with the company.
He began his career with Lakes three decades ago as a warehouse operative, before moving into the role of warehouse and transport manager, a role which also included facilities management and supporting the customer service team.
In 2007, Stuart McGhee was given the opportunity to focus more on a customer services role, until recently when he resumed his facilities management role.

Reflecting on his long employment with the company, McGhee said, “When I look back on my career at Lakes, there have been lots of personal highlights over the years, and I am genuinely shocked that it is my 30th year with the company.
“It does not feel that long at all! I would like to thank everyone at Lakes for the opportunities and support I have received over the years and continue to receive to this day. I look forward to many more years to come.”
Managing director Mike Gahir said: “I would like to congratulate Stuart on reaching such an incredible milestone and personally thank him for his exceptional service and commitment.
“We are truly grateful for the passion and expertise he has brought to the team, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.”
Following an MBO, investment and new product launch, Lakes Showering Spaces MD Mike Gahir says the business is driven to become a strong competitor.
