Worktop specialist Wex Trade has appointed Shawn Buckle as national account manager, to lead its national sales team.

He will lead a team of regional account managers covering the whole of the UK and is currently recruiting for a team member to look after customers in the Southeast region.

Buckle brings a wealth of experience to the role having spent almost 20 years in the worktop industry, joining the company from Maxtop Quartz.

Joining Maxtop Quartz as regional sales manager, he was subsequently promoted to national sales and e-commerce manager.

Prior to that he kickstarted his career at Bushboard as a key account manager.
