Fabio Colombo has been named vice president human resources of Whirlpool Corporation for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA region).
He will report to Gilles Morel, EMEA president and executive vice president and will join the global HR leadership team reporting to Carey Martin, executive vice president of global human resources.
Having worked for Whirlpool since 2014, Colombo has held various HR roles across the organisation, including senior manager of industrial operations and trade unions at the Cassinetta site (Italy).

This was followed by senior manager of the Whirlpool-Indesit integration in the commercial areas of the West Cluster.
Subsequently, he has contributed as HR director UK and Ireland, moving to the United Kingdom, to support the market turnaround.
In 2019, he returned to Italy in the EMEA Headquarters as business HR director for regional commercial amrket operations in 32 markets.
Most recently, Colombo held the role of business HR senior director contributing to design and implement the HR strategy and strategic projects for the region.
