Created for the entry-level segment, bathroom manufacturer Duravit has introduced Duravit No.1 bathroom collection for those on a budget.
It reflects the company’s design philosophy to “upgrade everyday life”, which was explained at its Design Days event, last year.
The “compact and comprehensive” product range has been designed to suit equally the first-time bathroom buyer through to hotel and project sectors.

According to Duravit, bathrooms for the budget price range are usually dominated by round shapes, whereas No. 1 is based upon a rectangular shape.
Washbasins feature a narrow side edge to create a larger inner bowl but with a “generous” tap ledge for models with cold start or reduced 3.5 litre/min flow, and can be combined with pedestals, semi-pedestals or vanity units.
These provide a “minimal” overhang on the accompanying bathroom furniture which has a recessed grip and comes in a choice of White Matt or Graphite Matt finishes.
There are vanity units with a hinged door for hand rinse basins, measuring 450 and 500mm, and furniture with a pull-out compartment and optional internal drawer measuring 550mm up to 800mm.
All furniture comes pre-assembled and complemented by mirrors and mirrored cabinets.
In addition, there are trapezoid baths in left or right corner versions, in three sizes, plus rectangular baths including a two-seater model, with optional whirl function.
Completing the Duravit No.1 collection are DuraStyle Basic WCs with rimless flushing technology, plus a wall-mounted model for children, as well as bidets and urinals.
