Creative director of Kbb Birmingham Andy Bishop comments: “The trends that are emerging this year are focused on the functional as well as the inspirational.”
He adds: “Over the last couple of years, our needs and requirements for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom space have changed. Consumers are looking for good design and style but also practicality and sustainability.
“Our exhibitors will be showcasing their own take on these trends and we look forward to seeing what they have in store for attendees in 2022.”
They will consider the mega trends of an older population, positioning ease of use at the forefront of developments, and protecting the environment with sustainable solutions.
The Used Kitchen Company will be back as the show’s sustainability partner encouraging exhibitors to think about their environmental and social impact as well kitchen recycling by helping exhibitors to sell off their displays.
Kbb Birmingham will also reveal how the pandemic has changed the landscape of kitchen and bathroom design, with hygiene developments such as touchless technology growing in importance and a focus on nature to enhance wellbeing with outdoor kitchens and biophilic design.
Visitors can discover all this and more, with over 200 exhibitors appearing across 26 product categories.
With an audience of over 12,000 visitors over the four days, it will be a destination for senior decision makers, bringing together the retail and contract sector under one roof.
