Designed in collaboration with Studio F. A. Porsche, bathroom furnishings manufacturer Keuco has unveiled Axess, a range of accessories for barrier-free bathing.
Catering for all generations and abilities, Axess includes a folding support rail, positioned over the rail system for the shower, grab rails and the freestanding stool.
Axess is focused on combining aesthetics and barrier-free functionality, so that accessibility is integrated into the bathroom without being visually obvious.

The Keuco Axess support rail is available in three finishes: chrome, matt black or aluminium/chrome and depending on the surface, offers a grip-friendly plastic inlay in black or white.
There is an optional and retrofittable toilet paper holder which has a colour-matched black or white roller stopper, as well as an optional radio flush actuator which can be fitted into the handle.
Boasting a 115kg load capacity, the rail is available in two projections of 700 and 850mm, the larger projection folding support rail is also suitable for larger wheelchair-accessible WCs.
While the grab rails, measuring from 400mm to 1000mm, provide support in the shower and bath, as well as washbasin and WC feature a flat front but rounded back to optimise grip..
In the shower, the rail system can serve as a grab rail and offers one-hand moving and locking for the showerhead.
Adding to its range of seats, the Keuco Axess stool offers a load capacity of 150 kg, with non-slip legs and seat, in a choice of white or black.
The Keuco Axess range of barrier-free bathing products has been designed to be compatible with IXMO taps and showers.
