Swiss bathroom manufacturer Laufen has just introduced the Moderna bathroom collection, of washbasins and vanity units with a contemporary design.
Created by Peter Wirz, Moderna has been created to meet the majority of bathroom decors in looks and offers a luxury feel with a value for money pricetag, reports Laufen.
The range consists of a selection of washbasins and vanity units that can can be complemented by the Laufen Pro and Palace range WCs and Laurin brassware.

Designers can choose the furniture from a selection of finishes, including Ash Honey, Dark Oak, Matt White and High Gloss White.
Commenting on the range Peter Wirz said: “The characteristic features of this successful bathroom are honesty, reliability, independence, paired with high functional values – traditional Swiss design approach that contribute to the foundation of timeless design.”
Laufen teamed up with Marcel Wanders at ISH to launch the New Classic and also unveiled its Save! WC, created with design studio Eoos which prevents urine entering the eco-system.
Founded in 1892 as a sanitaryware manufacturer, Laufen claims to have invented injection moulding for ceramics in the 1980s.
Its portfolio now also includes baths, furniture and brassware and accessories, with taps produced at the Laufen sites since 2009.
