The crossed “tripod-style” legs support a round ceramic top which can be used with a choice of 14 basins from Scarabeo, including Bucket, Glam, Mizu, Thin-Line and Shape.

Designers can choose from light or dark wood legs and the ceramic top and inserts come in nine finishes to match its existing sanitaryware colours.

Cross accessories include mirrors, shelves and towel rails.

Founded in 1974 in Civita Castellana by Giovanni Calisiti, Scarebeo started manufacturing wash basins and in 1998 introduced designer models.

Following sale success it expanded its factory in Civita Castellana in 2004 and opened its Fabrica di Roma plant four years later.

Scarabeo is known for its award-winning designs, including Glam and Teorema 2.0.

Most recently, the company scooped the Best of the Best category at the Iconic Design Awards for its Step shower tray.
