The touch screen interface provides a guided cooking experience to help deliver optimal cooking results for novice and experienced users alike.

It provides a choice of three cooking methods: Cook by Function, Cook by Food Type and Cook by Recipe.

Cook by Function provides 16 cooking options, while Cook by Food Type gives the optimal oven set up for specific food types.

Cook by Recipe sets up the home chef to create specific meals by providing step-by-step guidance with imagery and menus.

In addition, the touch screen ovens feature ActiveVent, a ventilation tool to ensure optimum moisture levels in the oven and AeroTech to circulate heat evenly for a consistent temperature throughout the cavity.

Completing the cooking features, the ovens boasts Pyrolytic self-clean technology and a Sabbath Mode, designed for those of the Jewish faith who observe a ‘no work’ requirement on the Sabbath.

The mode is designed to accommodate the need to keep food warm that has been prepared before the Sabbath.

In compliance with Jewish tradition, the oven setting keeps a constant temperature running and does not react to the user by turning on lights or varying oven speeds.

Fisher & Paykel introduced the TFT oven at Kbb Birmingham, as part of a portfolio of product launches.
