German manufacturer of premium infra-red powered gas barbecues and outdoor kitchen units Flammkraft is now available in the UK.

Flammkraft’s Block series is made entirely from stainless steel, with its hero Block D barbecue model powered by infra-red ceramic burners.

According to the company, the barbecue is quick to heat up and offers a temperature range of 75˚C to 900˚C for more precise cooking than an open flame.

The Block D (Gen. 5) outdoor grill features cast stainless steel grates, a 5.4kW roast infra-red gas burner, two 5.4kW main infra-red gas burners and storage.

It features a grilling surface designed to be spill-proof, can cook with direct and indirect heat and boasts an OfenDock with foldable grates and stainless steel containers to create a second cooking level.

Available fully-assembled, Block D (Gen. 5) can be used as a freestanding barbecue or built-in to an outdoor kitchen.

Available in seven colours, designers can choose from Deep Umbra, Taupe, Ivory White, Ruby, Light Grey, Pool and Ivory Black, which come with comes with oiled oak accessories.

The Block D (Gen. 5) hood is fully double-walled with an insulated top for fast heat-up times and constant temperature for closed hood grilling, as well as an integrated wind deflector.

A selection of accessories for Flammkraft barbecues are also available, separately, including a rotisserie, teppan-yaki plate, side shelf, wok, pizza and grill stone, smoking board, storage and cleaning box, cast stainless steel grates, chopping and serving board and cover.

Partnering the Block D barbecue and available in the same seven colours, is the Block M (Gen. 5) outdoor kitchen module for extra worktop space and storage or for use as an outdoor bar.

It features a solid 4mm worktop, push to open drawers, a kitchen roll holder, stainless steel containers, oiled oak chopping and serving board, drawers with brushed steel fronts, waste bin and storage and cleaning box.
