Franke has upgraded its Vital Capsule Filter tap, to cater for differences in water quality in old and new houses.

Responding to consumer demand, Sink and tap manufacturer Franke has upgraded its Vital Capsule Filter range, to cater for differences in water quality in old and new houses.

Now included with the tap is a standard High Performance filter, suited to new build homes with modern pipework, plus High Flow filter for homes with older pipework where sediment may be an issue.

Franke reports its Vital Capsule filtration system removes 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, together with rust, pesticides, hormones, chlorine and microplastics.

However, it is able to retain beneficial minerals such as calcium, magnesium and fluoride, in the water.

The recyclable filter cartridge is housed in a metal capsule that is integral to the tap, meaning there is no filter system taking up valuable cupboard space under the sink, and allows for easier cartridge replacement.

Vital Capsule taps come in a choice of three styles: a compact dedicated single dispense model; a 3-in1 J-Spout design and a 3-in-1 Semi-Pro model featuring a flexible hose and spray function.

All models are available in a combinations of Chrome /Gunmetal and Matt Black /Decor Steel finishes.
