Global appliance brand Haier has launched the connected X Series 11 Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer, operated by a TFT panel and hOn app.
The iF Design Award winning laundry includes a washing machine with “fresh air change” and A-40% energy rating.
It freshens clothes and drys the environment for up to 12 hours after the cycle has finished, to avoid the growth of mould and bacteria inside the drum.

While the X Series 11 Tumble Dryer features a twin motor with ultra reverse drum to dry garments evenly without stretching and tangling them.
In addition, it boasts an A+++-10% energy rating and ‘Flexy Air’ feature so users can adjust the airflow intensity – choosing between five levels – based on the time of the programme and fabric type.
Using the hOn app, consumers can tailor each washing cycle, using AI to recognise washing label and create a Virtual Wardrobe to store the details on how to wash and dry each garment.
The washing machine can detect the amount and type of fabric to adjust the programme, and detergent dose, from more than 2,500 combinations.
AI can also help the Tumble Dryer recognise the garments, fabric and size of load, and provides an alert to a smartphone when lighter clothing is ready.
Manufacturer of Haier, Haier Smart Home pledged to increase its media spend by 400% on last year to reach the consumer, including investing in TV advertising for the first time.
