German kitchen furniture manufacturer Rotpunkt has paved the way for dark kitchen interiors with the launch of Timber Black and Tundra.
Timber Black is a dark structured wood décor with open grain, which can be used across doors, drawers and end panel, as well as carried through to the carcase.
Tundra is a mid-grey handleless door front in a super matt surface and can be used to contrast or harmonise with dark wood furniture, matt black accessories and concrete flooring

Both the new door fronts are shown on Zerox furniture, with Timber Black used for base and wall units, as well as open shelving. Consumers can also opt for a wall cabinet in matching Timber Black.
Tundra is shown on a wall cabinet, which is planned between new shelves for optimal storage and contrasts against the dark timber.
All furniture is available in both standard 790mm and XTend 910mm high units, which reportedly offers up to 16% more storage capacity.
Designers can mix and match handle options, offering a handleless front for wall units with push to open mechanisms, and pull-handles on the base units, such as the new Bow handles 520 design which comes in Anthracite, Black, Green, and Bronze.
